MJ Unpacked happy hour with Accelerate Cannabis — the photo recap

Why a happy hour at MJ Unpacked?

Because the real conversations start after the panels. MJ Unpacked brings a big slice of the East Coast cannabis industry to Atlantic City every spring, and by the end of a day of sessions most people want a drink and a familiar face. So Jews in Weed teamed up with Accelerate Cannabis for a proper hang at the Center Bar inside the Hard Rock Hotel, from 4:30 to 6:30 on May 5.

It is a different energy from a Bagel Bash. The lanyards were still on, the bar was loud, and the crowd kept growing as sessions let out. By the time we called everyone together for a group photo, the bar was full.

Who came out?

Founders, operators, investors and service providers in town for MJ Unpacked, along with the Accelerate Cannabis community. It was the kind of room where a quick drink turns into a real introduction.

Thank you to Accelerate Cannabis for co-hosting, and to the Hard Rock for the room.

Where is the next one?

Evening gatherings like this one pop up around the conference calendar. The fastest way to hear about them is the newsletter or the community calendar on the events page.
